Rain hose is a flexible hose with evenly spaced small holes laser-cut into the pipe, mimicking soft rainfall. Precisely placed for even distribution.
Rain Hose is ideal for creating a micro-climate over your crop.
We love how this system covers a wide area at once. While using a lot of water, the benefit is that water falls so softly that it doesn’t cause any ground erosion.
In most cases – NO. You can do it either on your own, with a few friends, or hire helping hands. Installation is easy enough that it does not require a lot of technical expertise.
Poly Prop Fittings can be used directly in your mainline LDPE (40mm minimum recommended), with rain hose run from there with threaded fittings. Ball valves can be attached onto LDPE fittings, controlling water flow.
A range of ring fittings are available for the above diameters rain hose pipe.
Tightly screw an Off-Take Connector with Male Thread into a Female Combination Tee (LDPE fitting) on your mainline and run a line of rain hose from there.
The Off-Take Connector with Valve is pushed directly into a hole in LDPE pipe. This Off-Take Connector with valve allows for the control of water flow to the line of Rain Hose pipe.
