Works best for tree crops spaced more than 120 cm apart.
Since our dripline irrigation systems range from 20 to 120 cm in spacing, button drippers let you enjoy the benefits of dripline irrigation without wasting emitters between trees. In addition, irrigating with these drippers keeps your setup efficient and affordable, making it an ideal choice for both small and large orchards.
We offer two main types of Drippers:
Non-Pressure Compensating (NPC) models, which provide a constant flow rate at 1 BAR.
Pressure Compensating (PC) models, which maintain consistent output across varying pressures.
Use the 3 mm Perforation Tool to punch clean holes into LDPE pipe for your button dripper fittings.
When using these drippers, you can choose any LDPE pipe size; however, we recommend staying below 25 mm. Larger sizes don’t offer added benefits and usually just waste money if you’re buying new pipe.
Insert Non-Pressure Compensating Button Drippers directly into the holes you made with the Perforation Tool. You can easily adjust them to control the flow rate.
However, because they don’t regulate pressure, they perform best in short irrigation lines or flat areas where pressure remains stable.
Install Pressure Compensating Button Drippers using the same Perforation Tool.
Unlike standard drippers, PC Button Drippers automatically adjust to pressure changes, delivering a consistent flow rate across uneven terrain and longer irrigation lines.
